As
a news stringer, he has voiced reports for radio stations (and
exclusively for some programs), stretching back to World Expo
'88 in Brisbane. During extensive travelling in those early
days, he filed freelance radio news reports from the Formula
1 Grand Prix and various Cricket and Football Tests around the
country.
More
recently, Tim assists broadcasters as a location voicer for
radio coverage of events such as New Years Eve celebrations,
Federal & State Elections and even once from on-board a
newly launched rollercoaster (never again...). As such, Tim
is considered a very versatile reporter. His voice-over experience
(and competency with NewsBoss software) also makes him a capable
newsreader or presenter.
In
order to update and refresh his radio news skills, Tim completed
the Radio News course at the respected Australian Film TV and
Radio School in April 2003.

and CBS in New York. In 2005 he was invited to cover the Saudi
Economic Forum in Jeddah, where his end-of-day reports were
seen on Saudi TV, CNBC and Al Jazeera. He also completed a two
month tenure presenting sports updates during Macquarie National
News in 2003 on weekend mornings, heard on radio 2GB (873 Khz
-AM) in Sydney, and on affiliated stations.
He
is currently a regular contributor to Global Radio News, based
in London, and Paris Live Radio in France, providing news and
sports stories from Australia of international interest. He is also currently the chief correspondent for the Canadian Economc Press in Sydney.
