The
2006 Commonwealth Games will be hosted in Melbourne,
Australia. The baton relay is already underway.
As
with previous major events held in Australia, Tim Stackpool
is offering coverage of the Games to a limited number
of non-rights holding media organisations . Expressions
of interest from radio and TV media around the world
for regular coverage should be forwarded to tim@timstackpool.com
as soon as possible.
Demand
for Tim's reports is high. During the 2003 Rugby World
Cup held in Australia, Tim reported for more than 25
radio stations around the world, filing more than 230
reports.

and conditions will be determined over the coming months,

The TV service is proposed to include a daily wrap of
the results, versions running from 60 to 120 seconds,
using generic graphics with matching talking-head &
voice-over. No vision of the events will be included.
Delivery
is expected to be via satelite for TV broadcasters and
FTP for on-line services. Radio clients can receive
reports via FTP or email.
