United is a music festival held in Essex UK. The
money raised goes towards the worldwide aids charity
'Keep A Child Alive'. Keep A Child Alive is dedicated
to providing life-saving medicine to children and families
with HIV/AIDS. Keep A Child Alive offers the opportunity
to sponsor this treatment, and save a life. Alicia Keys,
five time Grammy winner is the spokesperson for Keep
A Child Alive.

The
Australian Cinematographers Society furthers the
advancement of cinematography in all fields and gives
due recognition to the outstanding work performed by
Australian cinematographers. Tim Stackpool was a awarded
an Honorary membership into the Society in 2001 in recognition
of his ten years supporting the Society.
2RPH,
Sydney's Radio Reading Service, broadcasts items from
daily newpapers to assist vision impaired, elderly and
infirm people. Although that remains the main focus
of the station’s work, there are now many other people
with a print disability who benefit from the service,
including English as a second-language teachers who
instruct their students to tune in and follow the printed
word as it is broadcast. Over 200 volunteers prepare,
present and produce on-air programs.
Hospital
Broadcasting UK aims to provide comfort and entertainment
to patients in hospital with a special mix of music,
conversation and local news. There are hospital radio
or television services in around 90% of hospitals in
the UK. The Hospital Broadcasting Association is a national
charity which promotes and supports hospital broadcasting
in the UK. The HBA represents over 250 member stations.
